ACADEMIC INTEGRITY





We take both plagiarism and use of artificial intelligence seriously. Delegates found to be plagiarizing or having a high percentage of AI use will be reported to their advisor and their school will no longer be eligible for any awards. Delegates may also be removed at the discretion of the SPBMUN staff.


Pre-written resolutions, clauses, and directives are prohibited at SPBMUN. Delegates are not allowed to work on clauses, directives, and resolutions during breaks and lunch time. We highly smile upon delegates utilizing their breaks as breaks and lunches as lunches. Socialize, connect, Make new friends :)


It is the responsibility of the advisor(s) and delegates to ensure that each member of their delegation do not violate this policy.



ELECTRONICS





SPBMUN is a technology-inclusive conference. We encourage the use of computers/other devices during collaborative resolution writing. However, it is prohibited during any moderated caucus unless specified by the chair. Please respect your chairs’ wishes and follow their instructions in respect to technology while in committee. Ultimately, their word supersedes any tech-related conference policy.



HARASSMENT POLICY





SPBMUN has a zero tolerance policy for harassment and bullying of any kind. If a delegate is found to be harassing any other delegate at the conference, they will immediately be removed from conference proceedings, reported to their advisor, and not be permitted to attend any future SPBMUN conferences.


Harassment includes, but is not limited to the following: inappropriate messages or comments, offensive Remarks, verbal attacks of a discriminatory nature.


Delegates who feel they’ve been harassed or feel unsafe should do the following: report to their chairs, reach out to a member of the secretariat, inform their advisor, and fill out the anonymous harassment form linked below.

DRESS CODE





Delegates are responsible for wearing at least semi-formal clothing, if not Western Business Attire. We have attached a list as reference.
